Talking Racine episode 40 discusses the hiring of a high-ranking city employee in 2012. The hiring was against the city’s policy. After the cover-up is discovered, the incident is brought to finance and personal in 2015 only to be received and filed. In 2017 the cover-up surfaces again when information is revealed about persons involved in the cover-up. The City administration tries to keep the information hidden by having alderman attend an executive meeting to discuss what information can be released to the public. Going so far as having the ethics committee review emails of the alderman who asked for the 2015 review of city policy. We bring the perspective down to the local level to discuss issues that affect our own city of Racine, WI.
