Back in the 80s 90s there were fests every weekend down at the lakefront. The city stop doing them because they weren’t making any money. This is a bad idea thinking an arena civic center will generate the money to ever pay for itself. 1/3 of the people living in Racine, live in poverty and their houses are falling apart. With all this supposedly excess money, They should take the IG revenue and tear down some of the old, decrepped, abandoned houses and factories and make room for new ones, or just clean up the city.
