Talking Racine looks at the City of Racine’s reserve fund. In the recent common council meeting a surplus of between 4 to 7 million dollars was found. However, that surplus was voted by the common council to be used for Pay increases for city employees. We bring the perspective down to the local level to discuss issues that affect our own city of Racine, WI.

In regards to the “true” numbers of the reserve fund. CHECK the AUDIT!! The “real” numbers should be there. I will look as well, I believe the audits are on the city website. If not, they should be. Ask the finance dept if they are not, by law they must provide. I will let Sandy know this as well. Thanks for all you do, the show is great!
