WHY has the Racine Common Council ignored Alderman Weidner’s request for open records? Alderman have recommended that emails mostly hers be sanctioned, when open government and court access advocates have called the case a disturbing use of secrecy. What are they hiding?

When in the past has the Racine Common Council and City Attorney hired outside attorneys to represent themselves to protect the secrecy of emails from another alderman who has asked for open recorders? Again, what are they hiding?
